Here is an ever-growing collection of odds-and-ends verse, primarily from the United States. It consists of poems in newspapers, comic periodicals, cookbooks, letters, advertisements, children's magazines and anywhere else. Our aim is to explore the wideness and weirdness of the poetical world, especially as it existed before the 1970's, when rules about copyright begin to restrict freewheeling anthologizing.
