Helen M. Burr,  “Riley”

The Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis, Indiana, October 13, 1913
Say Jim Riley, you for me, You're the finest that can be; There are poets everywhere, But with you they can't compare. Gee, I like the things you write, I could read them day and night. Just the same piece o'er and o'er, Makes no difference, read some more. "Out to Old Aunt Mary's," say, I could read that every day. And if that one ends too soon, Then I get "Knee Deep in June." Let me have "The Raggedy Man," I can read it, sure I can; You'd just as well bring all the rest, For every one of them's the best.
