[There's H₂O in the ocean,]

The Tiger, The Yearbook of New Orleans University, New Orleans, Louisiana, 1928
There's H₂O in the ocean, There's H₂O in the sea, And for quite awhile I've had nothing, But H₂O in me.
Added April 20, 2026. View this poem at source. "A quintette sung by Richards, Green, Brown and Reason on campus." The first line has a single apostrophe but I don't see the sense in including it. This ditty was published in 1928, during the prohibition of alcohol. JV
